A golden koala radiating warmth and happiness, dressed in an embroidered and beaded cape by local textile artists Carol Toon and Marilyn Ferguson. Elvis stays inside as his cape is too precious to be out in the elements.

Artist Biography

Carol Toone and Marilyn Ferguson are two local textile artists who have collaborated over art-making projects at Port Macquarie Museum. They are both members of U3A Port Macquarie.

Hello Koalas Gift Shop is sometimes hard to find. There is a group of businesses which have a signpost on Bellbowrie Street saying Bellbowrie Park Business Centre. On the street front is a business called PC Pitstop. There is a side street signposted on Belbowrie Street, between PC PitStop and Car Clean which is located on the other side of the side street housed in a bright orange building. Walk or drive down that side street signposted Bellowrie Park and ahead of you will be Hello Koalas Gift Shop on the corner of a group of business units. Opposite Hello Koalas Gift Shop is Casseras Bakehouse and Cafe. Great pastries and coffee. Google Map
